Kuz, make it so the post count doesn't go up until the post is approved. This will make it so there is basically no incentive to bot unless they want to waste money or try to ddos the site (and waste more money). You can still tell when the site is botted because the post count inflates for 1000 to 20000 despite having only 1,000 posts.
